I can imagine a great heatwave in some Asian country like the Philippines, causing a massive drought and starving everyone and the city is strewn with corpses as crows pick of the remaining meat, a stray cat successfully hunts a large wall gecko, and scampers to the shade, a dog however tries to pounce on a crow scavenging the corpse of homeless man fails and sticks to the corpse instead. As the sun sets sparrows and finches, flock to a vacant lot eating grains and seeds of the local wild rice and wheat, as a car drives into the sunset.

I wonder about the rights of the Disney songs in the first KH game. Like, you had the Winnie The Pooh main theme, « Under the sea » in Atlantica, « This is Halloween » in Halloween Town… but most of the worlds had their own music, sometimes completely remote from the « feel » of the original Disney film (like Aladdin).

I will always remember a quote Paul St Peter (Xemnas's English voice actor) said in a voice acting panel once. He was talking about Xemnas and how he performed his voice being the leader of Organization XIII and making Xemnas's voice so deep and profound. He said and I quote, "As the leader of Organization XIII can speak calmly because I don't need to shout... I have others do the shouting for me."

I never noticed this, but I find it amazing how this music was composed with concepts of light and dark in mind. Every 4 bars or so I think, the instruments used are changed respectively to instruments associated with “heaven” like harps, and “darkness/hell” like organs/darker chorus vocals.

It's like asking an Ailen what their idea of metal is, giving that to Indians, giving THAT to Mexicans the giving THAT back to us.
